More About The Project

Mid-2009 Microsoft launched a campaign to get people upgrading their Internet Explorer browser to the new IE8. By doing this you help out a charity because Microsoft donate 8 meals for every Internet Explorer 8 downloaded and will also double this if you upgrade from IE6.

We loved the idea because it means we can call our clients who run Internet Explorer 6 murders because they are responsible for killing an American through lack of food and is essentially murder, or man-slaughter at the very least. When you consider the scale of this murder/man-slaughter you would realise it is close to terrorism.

The problem that us Web Designers face is that if people upgrade they will be helping out America's fat people by providing free meals which is good, but they will still be using some version of Internet Explorer which is bad. very bad.

So we happily let Microsoft give away free meals to those American folk but then ask you to download Firefox which will prevent the unnecessary loss of Web Designer who, lets face it, have a much higher value in society.
